I know some people are just going to laugh at me for being a first time mom and asking but I'm going to ask anyways.
My daughter is 13 months old. Only takes a sippy cup. I am change so many wet diapers now its ridiculous. I time it today, 30 minutes between diaper changes. Yes I have to keep her dry, horrible diaper rash if I don't. Any of you ladies think this not right? I have thought about calling her ped but sometimes they are really not the best for listening so I would like some other moms opinion.

Yeah that seems like a LOT. Could she maybe have a bladder infection?

I do elimination communication with my son and so know how many times he pees anyway... at that age he was every 20-30 minutes going pee. If you are changing them that much I wouldnt really worry. Others just leave them on till they are more wet than that (hour or two, sometimes more) but if you are willing to use that many diapers its all good.

I would only worry maybe if they are all super soaked instead of just wet.

What do you mean only takes a sippy cup? Does she not eat too?

No she eats none stop. Some moms still give their kids bottles with formula at this age and that seems to produce more wet diapers.

I hadn't even thought of that. That is a very good possibility.
In reply to the other post, yes there ate soakers. That's what has me wondering. If they were wet, no biggie. Would think maybe she drank a lot, but they are super wet when I change her.
