Question about convertible carseat...

So we're driving 1800 miles to tx next month (total round trip 3600 miles). I will have a 2.5 year old and a 5month old. I am moving the baby into a convertible britax roundabout seat. What toys do y'all suggest to keep him entertained? With my oldest son he was in a infant seat til 1 so I just hung toys on the bar.I just think Jackson will be more comfortable in the convertible seat...

Any suggestions are welcome!

My son loves the little links with teething toys attached to them.

Bc your not supposed to leave bar up while driving I strapped the toys to her seat belt...its also easier for her to chew on them...maybe u can take off bar and put on seat belt

Right...but do I just put it in the carseat with him? That's where I'm confused because when I made the trip when ds1 was little, I Attatched the toys to the carrier bar...

I think I probably sound like a moron hahaha

The convertible seat doesn't have a bar...

I didn't know you weren't supposed to leave the bar up. I must have missed that when reading the manual. Oh well. It doesn't matter since he's in the convertible now

Oh yeah I do. I lay them on his lap and he just pulls them up to his mouth haha.

Ok! That makes sense then. I just didn't know. I over thought the whole situation I'm pretty sure.

At that age my DS loved rattles and things he could chew on. Maybe take some kid friendly music too. With the 2 year old maybe even a portable DVD player if you have access to one. We do a lot of traveling too.

How about a DVD player attached to the head rest?
