My 2nd is 17 months and doesnt talk at all! She only says "dada".  Which I am surprised about, lol!

Yes but only because my oldest is Autistic and just started talking at 4. He is 6 now. My youngest has been talking since 3. When I say talking I mean full sentences and having real conversations.

my dd2 started talking a few months sooner than dd1.

Nope, but he still knew 30 + words by his 1 year check-up when they had us count.

No, my 1st was already talking 2 word sentences at 12 mths, but my 2nd is nearly. 21 mths and has hardly any words yet.

Yes. My first son didn't talk much for a while, close to two years old.

My second didnt talk at all until he was 2 1/2!  And he was speaking in sentences! I have had 15 years of experience with children. They are all different! Seems like for the most part girls are more verbal. But they all have their own pace desipite their gender, place in birth and who they are around.

Nope, nearly 19months later than the 1st and still only 2 or 3 words at a time.
