Celestyn is 6 months old.

She's currently laying next to me screaming. She doesn't want to nurse. I've given gripe water, advil, and tried a half oz warmed water in a bottle.

She doesn't want to play or be held. She doesn't want or need anything and to be honest both mind and dfs patience levels are gone.

DSS and DD were ridiculous today.

I want to put her in her playpen or swing. Turn on curious George and walk outside on the porch for a few minutes. DF is here too...

I need fresh air. I feel smothered. Yet i can't walk away. I can't stand to hear her cry. But then again i dont want to hear her.

DF is helping fyi.

I just ugh.

dunno what to do.

Is she teething?

You do need fresh air. Put her somewhere safe and walk outside. Shut the door behind you. She'll be fine for two minutes.

Put her down and go outside for a few minutes to calm down. When you're stressed, your baby can sense it and it will make her even more upset. It won't hurt her any to sit there and cry for a minute while you calm down.

She's probably over tired try putting her in swing and walk away for like five minutes. Go in bathroom Turn on the bath water or something so u don't hear it.

Take a few minutes to yourself outside. She can feel your frustration and that your tense. It'll be easier to calm her when your calm and it will feel more manageable when your not so flustered. She will be ok, even if she cries for a few minutes alone. I know its horrible to hear your baby cry I hate it too but maybe she's feeling smothered too? I just know a sane mother is the best mother. :) it'll be ok mama! Your doing the best you can!

Yep. The pedi says she's having a rare but normal over sensitivity to it. She isn't tolerating it at all.

He said for her to be teething is like is breaking a finger or toe..

Colic? It's tough. I used to have to bounce around holding her my bff hAd to pick up baby Nd bounce with her arms. Exhausting. But it eventuLly stops. HAve you tried babywearing? I would do whatever possible to soothe her a's tough a's it is. When you fnd the magic cure, then u can figure out a way to do that while getting other things done (or while df gets things done). I hope you find it soon keep your chin up!

Goodness... This might sound awful, but if you have some anal cream, like anal ease, try that. It's safe to eat. The benzocane (sp?) is much stronger in it than in Oragel. Maybe that will help her sensitivity.
