1 mom liked this

Involve him in?

How about making a nice dinner, bake some kind of dessert, order a movie and snuggling on the sofa? You can do that with a little one :)

We Had our Valentine's this weekend. We went out to eat, visited a winery for a chocolate and wine tasting, bought some wine and cuddled on the sofa with some yummy snacks and a movie. Our baby was with us the whole time and it was still romantic and fun.

Last year, my DH surprised me with a lunch date at home while DD (nearly 5 months old at the time) napped. He called ahead to a restaurant that offered to-go pick up. It was really sweet of him.

I don't mean involve him in on the romance haha I mean we don't have a babysitter so I want to think of something creative that we can do at home :) thanks for your idea I think it'll end up being something like that

We don't really do Valentine's day. The other suggestions of dinner & movie are great though. I would suggest putting baby to bed early or doing dinner after baby's bed time. Then you have a little time for the two of you. :)
