my son is 1mth & 1wk old & i was needing advice on if it is safe to use the water from the sink instead of purified water now or if i should still use purified water for his formula??

Depends on ur water source. Is it fluoridated ? Never use hot water bc it can carry lead with it... Personally I would use purified but I live in so cal and the water is blech.

Water from the sink is fine unless you know of some problem with your water source or unwilling to drink it yourself.

Considering you should boil it to sterilize the formula powder either way, I'm sure either is ok.
But I don't ff, so I'm not sure.

Yea, it depends on where in cali. I live at the base of san berdu mountains and our water is fine we had it tested. I would not drink water from the tap in OC or LA with out a purifier on it.

Just to be safe i would at least boil the tap water and store it in a large clean water bottle. :) That way you can be sure it's safe AND not have to buy water.
