Apple juice helps a lot to soften bowel movements. If that doesn't help you can have her drink prune juice.

Yup what these ladies said ^^^ apple juice or prune juice. I've found apple juice works better for my son.

Yep try the juices first. Also baby is old enough you can put extra fiber in food.

start with apple juice. make sure she is getting lots of water and fruits. see if anything in her diet is causing it. maybe dairy?

A small amount of karo in milk is what my daughters pedi told me when she couldn't go. It worked.
