what is more accurate??????

I have two thermometers for dd, one is the pacifier one which is reading 101.1 and than I have the Vick forhead one that says its only at 99 soooo which one do I go by?

I use the ear thermometer, knowing it's usually 1 degree low. If it seems like he has a temp, I then confirm with the rectal, which is the most accurate.

did the vick's forehead one tell you to add to that number??  I would say the pacifier is more accurate out of the 2 you used.

Forehead one most accurate imo. I use one and its always been most accurate. Its also what her and her from use..

I just looked and there are many bad reviews on the Vick's forehead thermometer.

At this point...doesn't matter enough.  Both of those temps aren't anything crazy so I wouldn't even worry about accuracy at this point.  I certainly wouldn't do a rectal temp to determine accuracy when the temp is this low.  Unless the temp is pretty darn high accuracy isn't really an issue as much as trending and how the child is feeling.
