My oldest son got milk when he first woke up, then I gave him milk bottles just like I would have given him his formula, between meals, before bed, with meals in a sippy cup. My LO now is only 8 months so we are not giving milk yet, but I imagine that we will do the same with him. Also, we looked at the vitamins and minerals in ovaltine as compared with formula, DS would get a bottle of Ovaltine first thing in the morning, milk the rest of the day- this was 14 years ago, so will need to do another comparison with my LO. One other thing we are doing different with LO than 1st son- no juice. We spoke with LO Dr about introducing juices and he made a good point- why introduce the sugary sweet drinks. Stick with formula and water. LO now gets a sippy cup of water with all of his meals and then has formula between/with meals.

My 15 month old eat everything we eat, we just cut it into chunks or shred it. Like last night she had porkchops, peaches and mashed potatoes. She also gets 3, 6oz of milk a day.
My son eats everything we do. I only do two cups of milk around dinner and in the morning. Breakfast we do fruit and pancakes or oatmeal
Well, when my nephew was a year old, he was pretty much only on "adult" food. If he can eat actual cereal, get him to eat a bowl or two a day to get the milk you want him to have {even if it's formula/breast milk, you can put it in the real cereal like you would 2% milk etc.}
If you haven't yet, give him some more finger foods with calcium and vitamin D if it's the nutrients you're worried about, along with some bread etc. That will take care of the milk if he isn't want the milk.
Hope this helps, sorry I don't have much info for you as far as what you're actually asking. =D
Brkfast we do oatmeal, blueberries, yogurt raisins, bananas, clementines, applesauce, we switch it up daily so she doesnt get bored, she usually does about half a packet of oatmeal and whatever fruit she wants. I like to offer fruit/veggies thruout the day.
Lunch is usually soup, pbnj, leftovers, whatever im having and fruit
Dinner is whatever we are having and sometimes a lil extra snack if its not something she is in love with
Snacks we do yogurt raisins, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, pears, bananas, string cheese, sliced cheese, cherrios, kix, sometimes goldfish or animal crackers...basically healthy options to keep her on the go, dd is a snacker, she loves to go into the fridge and choose a piece of fruit to eat :)
Im wondering what other moms are doing as well. My 13 month old son eats really anything we do. Usually toast and a banana for breakfast, maybe some jelly or pb on the toast, or we love oatmeal too, with fruit. Ghram(sp) crackers, fishy crackers, apple, oranges. Broccoli and squash, steamed and cut up. He loves a slice of cheddar cheese and eating tomatoes whole. I just give him EVERYTHING that isnt a hazard and see what he likes. They need variety. As far as milk, my son usually has a 4-6 oz bottle after hes up for a couple hours, and i give him milk or water with all his snacks, i have something available for him to drink all day, then one bottle of milk(same size) for a nap, and again at bed. Hes 31 lbs and 34 in tall, he is very healthy. Use your insticts and let baby tell you what they want.
