Formula or breastfed? Try tummy massage and pumping/bicycling her legs, then giving her a warm bath.

Is she breastfed? If she is then that is totally normal for her to not poop everyday or even once a week.

Massage her belly, do bicycles with her legs, give a warm bath. Or maybe it's just bad gas. You could try gas drops. Uhm, those are the only things I know for a baby that young.

Could be the formula didn't sit well with her. Keep breastfeeding- breastmilk can actually act as a natural laxative. For soreness use lanolin between feedings, let breastmilk airdry on nipples after a feeding, and make sure she is latching well. It is also completely normal for her to not poop every day while breastfeeding- breastmilk leaves very little waste. If she is passing gas, she is not constipated, so there is no need to worry or call the ped.

A day and a half is nothing to worry about, although I completely understand wanting to ease her pain. I think when you should start worrying is 4-5 days.  When I was breastfeeding, the doc suggested that I add things to my diet that would help - i.e. more fiber, prune juice, etc.  Also, if you are on any pain meds from giving birth (I was on percocet b/c iI had a c-section), I would suggest that you stop taking it, because just as much as it will stop you up, it will do the same to your baby.

Also wanted to add that I definitely know how you feel.  My son (now 4 months) almost didn't get to leave the hospital because A) he hadn't pooped since the day he was born and B) he had lost more than 10% of his weight.  They made us supplement with formula before they let us go.  It ended up that I wasn't producing enough breastmilk, so after a month or so of trying, he switched strictly to formula.  Anyway, to get back on the subject, in the beginning he would go up to 4 or 5 days without pooping, and even now he poops an average of every other day.  We made sure to get him the formula for fussiness and gas (which definitely helps!).  You can also put her on her tummy and massage her back with lotion. :)
