When i was pregnant with my son my aunt gave me 1 big a baby shower and both his and my family went. Then or neighbors gave us a baby shower cause they werent able to make it to my aunts cause of how far she lived. Im just about 6 months pregnant now and my dhs sm asked if she could give me one and i said sure cause no one had offered yet but then my mom told me she had already planed to give me one and my neighbors told me they plan on giving me one. So now ill be going to 1 from his family 1 from my family and 1 from our neighbors. And they all wanna do it in May. That would be fine but im due June 15 and if she comes early like my son did then it will be a may baby and it just seems like a bit much for one month. That would mean i would have a shower 3 weeks straight. Now dont get me wrong im greatful they all wanna do this for me. Just seems like alot for someone to do at almost 9 months pregnant.

One was enough for me. I don't even know where i would have put the stuff if i had more than one shower. I was overwhelmed with all that i got from one. Maybe you could talk the neighbours into a diaper party instead..

I had two with my first. My son was born the day of my second baby shower so the ladies from church called the hospital and asked if they could have it in the waiting room. I had him at 9:45 am and at 7pm I was attending his baby shower in the waiting room. It didnt last a real long time because after about a hour I was getting tired but it was nice that they all came up and it was during a snow storm.

1 mom liked this
Yeah i was thinking about asking them to do that. We live in a one bedroom apt and we have already out grown it. Im hoping we can find a bigger place by the time she gets here so we will have room to put all the stuff we get. We pretty much have all the big stuff its not girly but im not one that has to have brand new stuff cause it doesnt have pink on it. It wouldnt be so bad to stay where we are but my 1yr old wont share a room. My dh and i already had to move into te living room cause he wouldnt sleep with us in there.
