Wow...rofl..how dumb

Quoting fatcat0908:

You can buy it sugar free and its a fuck ton healthier than an infant suffering malnutrition.

Quoting moroccanmommy:

Lol you think srawberry quick is healthy?? Oh lord

Quoting fatcat0908:

I'm going to get bashed to holy hell for this, but if you are that concerned about her nutritional needs and want her to drink the formula and all else fails, throw some powdered strawberry quick mix in it.

I heard from other mothers slowly add more and more water to her juice so that way she'll want to maybe try the milk since the juice isn't as appetizing =)

You DID suggest that OP give her 6 month old Strawberry quick in her formula. . . . No matter how low in sugar or sugar free it claims to be, there's nothing healthy about that - as a treat for older kids and adults, it's one thing, but as a regular addition to a baby's bottle??  There are better ideas for helping a baby get over constipation and drinking her bottles without fuss, and I trust you are indeed smart enough to know that  :)

Quoting fatcat0908:

Oh no, she implied quite clearly that she thought I was dumb.

No one was bashing - we were just giving healthier alternatives and suggestions.

Morroccanmommy just bashed me...I think it must of been one of those notorious CafeMom induced bipolar replies...ROFL

Quoting BiPolarMomto3:

Are you just blind? Omg!!! Lol thanks for the laugh... Just about every other mom on here....

Quoting moroccanmommy:

Whos bashing? ? Name fits you

Quoting BiPolarMomto3:

Omg seriously??? Lay off!!!! She asked for advice not to get jumped on when she posted!!!! Lay off!!! Just because she chooses to do something you don't agree with, doesn't mean you can put her down or bash her for it! So she gives her baby juice, great!!!! If you don't like it don't reply!!! Geez!!!! Oh and to the original poster, if she gets that constipated try warm juice is works best.

Yeah...okay, instead she should listen to your advice which was to ignore her child's two doctors? Reduced sugar quick only adds 15 grams of sugar which is FAR less than juice, and that would be if she used it full strength which I doubt she would. It is actually highly reccomended by dieticians in situations where a child won't take milk/formula. oh wait, but your not one of the bashers!

1 mom liked this
is it prune juice? I had to also do that with my daughter but I just added a small amount to her formula(doc told me how much since it depends on weight). I was just give her the formula with however much juice the doc suggests until she's ok with one btl a day mixed with formula & juice. if its prune juice(to get her to poop) it doesnt take much or else it becomes explosive ! gl

pipsmommy- i have to give her juice so she will poop! the doc told me to! and  jermy1- thank you

Really, better ideas? Let's see, this baby WON'T drink anything but juice. Maybe you are smart enough to know the reprocussions of how quickly a malnourished infant circles the drain. She can't get her baby to take formula, a quarter serving of strawberry quick weaned gradually over time is not a death sentence nor nearly as toxic as you and your buddy are making it out to be. Do you realize how insane you seem? You'd swear I said to give the kid a fifth if Jack in her bottle.
