File. I cut a bit of her thumb once when she was 3 months old. I cried more than she did. Never used a clipper again

I have 4 kids & have never clipped a baby's nail in my life cause I'm too nervous about it:)

Baby Nail Clippers & File for the sharp edges.  I do it while he's sleeping, easier to get a handle on his fingers without them wiggling away!

The small clippers that came in the Baby First Aid Kit.  My son is pretty good when I clip his nails, so it's not a big deal.  However, I avoid one of his toes because he has a dilated capillary.  I tried to clip the nail there once, and it started bleeding.  I think I'll hold off on that one... :P
