Grunting/Spit Up

Hey everyone, so I have a three week old that is havinb spit up problems at the moment. She will do gagging faces but nothing comes out. It all stays in her throat so when she is sleeping she has to grunt super hard to try and clear it. The grunting isn't due to pooping cos you can hear the stuff gurgling in her throat. Is there anyway to relieve this for her? I feel so bad, it sounds awful!

Is she bf or formula? If its formula I would consult a dr about maybe acid reflux.

She is mostly fed breastmilk from bottle, sometimes I supplement. But not too often. Seeing doctor on Monday and will definetly press further with questions. The last time I brought up the grunting and gagging face she said it was totally normal and to keep her upright for at least 10 minutes after I feed her, which I do, but its still there.
