Babies Babies

whats the secret???

Posted by   + Show Post
What's the secret to getting breastfed baby poop out of clothes? I used to be able to scrub it out but now that she's older its so hard! I even try scrubbing out right away. That yellow poop is so stubborn to get out and clothes aren't cheap! Any ideas?

Just put it out in the sun. It'll sun bleach the stain out.

Quoting LongBeachLiz:

Oh also try sunning it. It works for cloth diapers.

Dawn dish soap works really well! I wish I would have known about it before I threw away tons of clothes.

Zout is amazing! I found it at dollar general

My inlaws use a product called Zout. I don't know where they bought it, but it worked PERFECT! Even on white clothes!

Rock on! Thank you! My MIL passed about a month after we went up to see them in Montana (we live in Texas) and I never did ask her, she has been gone almost a year. I asked my FIL the other day (I finally remembered) and he didn't know, he told me Mom always bought those things.

OH MY GOSH. my son is the king of blowouts!

I get the poopy clothes to the kitchen sing like ASAP and I drizzle some a lil soap on it and take the kitchen spray hose and spray the heck out his outfit.  that alone gets out the stain. Then I just wash it like normal and It's good as new.

The trick for me is to get it wet and washed right away. I feel like if you wait, it'll sink in!

I've used dawn dish soap and it works great, even if it's sat on the clothes for awhile.
