1 for toenails and 2 1/2 for fingernails so that she didn't put her fingers in her mouth.

 2 or 3 maybe?

I painted my DD's toes at just a few months old with "piggy paint" a non toxic nail polish for babies :) I got it on amazon.com she is 2 and I still haven't painted her fingers because she sucks her thumb.

i dont paint mine so i dont keep nail polish on hand so i wont paint hers

My daughters sm thought it'd be cute to paint our daughters nails hot pink I asked him about it(she was one) and he said his wife did it I said ok well tell her I don't appreciate my daughters nails being painted hot pink it makes her look like a lil hooker. I'm gonna be the one to take her to get her feet and finger nails done not his wife.....i'm her mom. Yes I have a problem with my daughter having hot pink nails and it was done without my knowledge! Mines 23the months old and I painted her nails toes and fingers, for the first time last week. She was excited her nails were the same color as mine.

i painted my daughters at 6 weeks :) she never puts her hands in her mouth, yet! and i found a nail polish at walgreens that said it was nontoxic and safe for little hands so i painted hers early
