I'm supposed to leave from Michigan on Tuesday to go to Florida to take my 8 yr old and 6 week old to Disney. Just wondering anyone's personal experiences going to Disney with a baby. Not really looking for opinions, just personal experiences. Thanks for your help!!

Since we live right around the corner from Disney we go all the time. I would get one of the stoller fans for your baby since you will be outside all day. Are you going with someone else? You won't be able to do much as far as rides. If you have any specific questions let me know.

Last time I went I was 18 and my baby brother was only about 9 months, plus other siblings who were 3,5 & 7. They all did fine. Bring a good stroller that has an undercarriage to store everything you'll need through the day and have good walking shoes. Plan out what to tackle through the day with rest stops in between for shade, food and a break. Have fun! Disney is my absolute favorite place in the world. Can't wait to take my daughter there someday.

We took our third to Disney at six weeks. Her big sisters were 2,3. We had a ball.
The baby was the easiest! Do you have another grown up going? Baby can go On any ride that doesn't have a height requirement. Keep baby hydrated, if you need to cool off each park has a baby care center, they have changing tables, places to nurse with rocking chairs, find them on the map and use then when needed.
Use fast pass as much as possible to avoid lines, do you have a sling to carry baby in? Strollers can not go in lines, so you will have to carry baby whole time.
Some restaurants allow strollers(depending on how crowded it seems), some have infant high chairs, you just have to ask at the front.

Where in Michigan? I'm from Holland! I'll have to remember this one. We leave in August.

Thank you. I bought a fan for him and an umbrella. It's my mom, her boyfriend, and two of my aunts. I'm not really worried about rides. I'll prob just make sure my mom watches him so I can go on a few w dd. :) how little were yours their first time?
