My daughter is 18 months old and lately she thinks it's really funny to bite me. It started out with her biting while she was nursing, but when she does that I just stop feeding her for about 10 minutes, and that seems to work (she hardly ever bites while nursing anymore) but now shes biting me everywhere. When I carry her she bites my shoulder or my arm...she bites dh's fingers all the time. I know she is teething but I need her to learn it's not okay to bite people. What should I do? I've tried fake crying to let her know it hurts and you can tell it makes her feel bad because she'll crawl up on your lap and kiss you but then she'll bite agian as soon as I stop pretending to cry! I need advice!?!?!
Well at least mines not the only one, that makes me feel a little better.
Quoting Nynnie:
I have no advice but my son is the same age and does the same thing I have tryed biting him back but he just laughs
Lol I firmly tell my son no whenever he does anything aggressive... Biting, pinching. I tell him no and pull his hands or him away if he is trying to hurt me..
