None. We've been ttc since dd was 7 months old. Breastfeeding is the only birth control being used. Hoping it doesn't work well for too long!

I cant do the patch, Im allergic to almost all stuff like that with adhesive. Im hopefuly getting an IUD in a couple weeks

Quoting IrishIz:

I've had issues with some hormonal contraceptives making me very "mean".  I had to switch until I found one that worked.  I had the worst issue when I was using the patch.  Whew...terrible.

Quoting wesleysmom08:

I might have to look for that book. All birth control messes with me. The last round of pills screwed me up so much that I was mean to everyone. Until I leveled out my sil took the kids while dh was at work. It was scary

Quoting YzmaRocks:

I check my cervical fluid. I could temp but I am BFing so my temperature is all over the place. If you are interested, read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Awesome book! It explains everything really well.

Quoting wesleysmom08:

How do you do that?

Quoting YzmaRocks:

Natural family planning.

I currently have Paragard but I'm thinking about going to NFP instead for this reason...

Quoting melindabelcher:

I'm stuck on this one, because I believe life begins at conception. Most bc prevent implantation not conception.

Depo Provera injection. You either love it or hate it. Alot of women have issues with it, but I love it. One shot every 3 months and that's it. Spotting in the biginning but I haven't had a period in 4 years. I have severe endometriosos and ovarian cysts so I need BC that stops my period cuz if not I'm in excrutiating pain 3 weeks out of the month. Didn't want to do IUD devices because pelvic infections and other complications are too common. I'll stay on this til I decide on a more permanent option.

Yes, I know. I've had 3 planned kids :)

Quoting ConnorMom228:

Breastfeeding and no period are not forms of birth control. You CAN ovulate and get pregnant. Just FYI.

Quoting suroundedbyboys:

Currently breast feeding, I haven't had my period since dd was born 10 months ago.
