How old were you when you had your tubes tied? How many kids did you have? How were you sure you were done? Do you regret it?
I was 30 when I had my tubes tied after my only child was born. I was told my chances of conceiving were slim to none, so I was surprised to find out I was pregnant. It was a high-risk pregnancy and I had a threatened miscarriage at 6 weeks. I just knew it wasn't something I wanted to go through again. I loved being pregnant and my son is a blessing, but it was so stressful and I was always so worried something would go wrong.
I am 28 and had it done almost a year ago. Only reason I got mine done was because it was my third child and my now fiance only wanted one child at the time. Well now he is thinking he may want another. If my health was in decent shape and my body could handle another pregnancy I wouldnt have got them tied either but my doctor told me if I didnt do it I was risk my life getting pregnant again!

Had it done during my second childs birth via c-section. We would have had 3 children, but our ages were against us. I was just 3 months from 41. We felt it was too risky as far as possible birth defects go. In addition, my second pregnancy was not very comfortable. Both pregs, also, were considered high risk for me.
I had my done after i had my last one at 32.. do i regret it yes. we did it because of the town we live in they Dr.s where not good. where we done no.. but health is why we did it i knew i was getting up there and healthy baby was more in porten to me then anything..
