Nutramigen Formula Question

My son is 6months old, he is using Enfamil Nutramagen for colic and he had some spitting up issues which we discovered was reflux.  He is now and has been using reflux medication 3times a day and it seems to be under control.  He is no longer colic.  Has anyone else who has used this for either of these issues been able to switch to another formula?  Please let me know your experience.

That formula is for babies with a milk and soy allergy. If you dont think it's an allergy, buy a small can of the formula you want to use and try it for a couple days.

Once baby is on formula for a long period of time it's not good to switch them because it can mess up their tummies. Nutramigen is hypoallergenic formula and is best for a baby with issues like that.

I switched DS from Nutramigen to Gentlease around that age and he did fine.

They are old enough at that age, that switching formulas is alot easier on their tummys than when they were babies.

Especially with how expensive Nutramigen is!

Your baby probably has a milk allergy, which typically has the same symptoms as reflux and "colic". I would stick with your current formula, as he seems to be doing well on it. Why rock the boat?

I switched after 5 months to Gerber Gentle and he was fine.
