Poop/bf question

It's totally normal. I heard bf babies can go a week and be ok. Of course my son typically had 5 poops a day lol. I wouldn't worry unless he seems uncomfortable.

Though watch out! Often you'll be surprised with a gigantic load when he goes again!

Normal. If he seems really uncomfortable though you can try a warm bath, bicycle his legs, tummy massage, or YOU drink a couple glasses of apple juice.

Breastfed babies go a long time without pooping and it's perfectly fine.

Mine did the same thing for quite a long time.

They say it's because they get so much nutrients in breastmilk there is no excess, and it's so easy for their body to digest.

Breastfed babies can go 2 wks. Breastmilk is digested better so there is less waste. If he's farting and not showing signs of discomfort he's fine:)

My daughter (she was exclusivley breastfed) went through a period at about 3 months old where she only pooped once every few days...I thought she was constipated so I took her to the dr.. He said it's okay for a breastfed baby to go up to 10 without pooping, because breastmilk is so easily digested there just isn't much waste left over.

Normal. Dd sometimes will go a few days without pooping. Always makes up for it in the end though!
