DS is nearing 4 months and is starting to get too big for his bassinet. He sleeps through most nights and sometimes in the morning I bring him in bed with me to get a few extra hours of sleep.

Our bedroom is way to small to move his crib into our room, and his room shares a thin wall with ours and the doors are directly beside each other. I would probably hear him stir without a monitor....

But - I've been working myself up to trying out the crib at night  by having his naps in his own room - but I just can't bring myself to do it at night. For my benefit or his? I dont know.  Im blessed with such a good  LO. How and when did you ladies make the move?

My dd is a little over 10 months old and she just moved into her own room Friday. She was in her pack and play in our room after she outgrew her bassinet.
She slept through the night from 6 weeks to 7 months. We tried co sleeping but neither of us slept well that way. She was waking 3-4 times a night in our room. Now she is waking once per night. I wish I would have transitioned her into her own room a lot earlier, like when she outgrew her bassinet lol. I understand your reluctance though.

My daughter was almost a year when we moved her into her room. My son has his own room, but he still sleeps in our bed majority of the time, he is 26 months
