At what age are you supposed to start introducing crayons?
I always did around 12 months, but my son eats them so we are holding off again for a couple months. I'll probably try again at the end of summer and see if he's ready. My first daughter colored an elephant (out of lines of course) at 12 months. She loved to color!

Depends on when the child can use them without trying to put them in their mouth. For my dd that was 14 months old and she would sit & color.. For my cousins little boy he just turned 2 and she gave him some hen he was 18 months because he would always want to put them in his mouth
I tried at 12 months but my son tried to eat them. We introduced markers and paint instead lol he loves those.
I let ds have 1 crayon, and I always watch him like a hawk, and make sure he colors on nothing but the paper I give him. Hes not all that into them yet, he rarely wants to color. He'll be two next month.
It depends on how likely they are to put things in their mouths. DD never really put things that weren't food in her mouth, so she got her first crayons and coloring book when she was about 7 months, but could only make small marks. She loves coloring!
