What do you mommas do? Dd has all 4 front teeth and the top 2 are KILLING me each session.

Any tips?

Sorry no advice here but ow. Ive btdt lol i always just told my son to not bite before every session and he didnt bite once. The only time he ever bit was when i found out he was teething. He had already broke thru the skin and i didnt know till i nursed him. But good luck!!

If she's biting she's done. Stop her, break the latch. Tell her ouch! No biting mommy. Put her down. No mommy milk for 3 mins. Try again. Repeat as necessary. If she's latched correctly the teeth should not hurt you.

Are the teeth brand new?  If she's scraping them against your nipple, sometimes it's just a matter of getting used to it.  Like when you first starting nursing.  You can try a different hold too.  Try a football hold.  Change her position.

Yea she's not biting, more scraping and really only the left side. Her latch is not as scrapy on the right.

Thank you! I will be trying some of this.

She has bit me once, but the scraping is almost unbearable.

Is she latched on correctly?  I am not much help...never had this problem, and DD is 18 months, with lots of teeth.   Maybe try the BFing group!
