Tableware

Goody bags

New skates
And I know there's more!
They clean up everything!
I know people won't want to buy gifts for 3 kids so we were just going to put that they are not necessary.
What do you think?
Biggest reason was because people don't want to come 3 different weekends the month of October for parties!
I have always been of the belief that it is very important to give children their own birthday party. If you are renting out the entire place, you allow each child to invite everyone they choose, and they agree to it, then I don't see why not. If you rent out the whole place, you can pretty much have three party areas decorated as they like. Everyone can have their own cake maybe? I think that making it more like 3 parties on the same day and in the same place is wiser than one giant, shared party. I would be very concerned with each child feeling like it is his/her special day.
A year ago, I would not have sympathized at all. Now, I have a child turning 2 in December and twins due in December. I very well may have this problem soon.
I think as long as each child feels "special" on this day, or on their actual birthday, then cool! I think its a cool idea plus is it saves a lot of money on 3 different bday parties!

are you sure the 12 yr old doesnt care? i'd make 100% positive. the 2 and 4 yr old probably wouldnt care being so young...but im saying because i remember having a birthday party and sharing it with 2 of my cousins because our birthdays are so close....none of us liked it, we hated it. but the skating rink sounds like a ton of fun!!!!

Sounds fun and an ice rink is a huge place to have a joint party, perfect. I do the same thing! My two girls' birthdays are 2 weeks apart in the summer- there is no way I'd expect our entire family + friends to come to their parties that close together in summer when things are so busy. I will continue this tradition with our family and then once they are older and in school they can also do separate parties with friends if they want.

I offered to let her have a sleepover of she didn't want to share. In the past 3 years we've camped out in the backyard with our huge tent. She choose this. She is on the derby team do she loves skating. She is excited!
