about cords and dogfood that is so appealing to babies?!?!
With most things, a couple no's, a hand thump or two if they decide to test me, and they don't bother with the no no item anymore. With the dog's food bowls, they just keep coming back. I'll say no, then they'll watch me as they slowly reach over to grab more food. If they catch me not watching closely enough, they'll make for the bowls as quickly as they can and I'll find them in a huge puddle of water, dogfood in each hand, and a piece or two in their mouth.
lol I have a 4 pound Chihuahua, so his water bowl isn't too large, but it still makes quite a mess. I would do the feeding in the morning and night, but I'm so afraid I'd forget to feed him, then he'd be hungry all day.
Quoting kirstina:We feed our dogs twice a day. Morning and night. What isnt eaten in about 20 minutes gets put away of of reach of little hand. I leave water bowl out all day but it only has a small amount of water in it.
I don't know, my ds has never cared about those things...but he is very interested in remotes, phones, my wallet lol
I have a 2 pound Chihuahua and a puppy chihuahua thats around 2 pounds. My 5 year old feeds them. I just remind him. when I cook breakfast and dinner.

yeah, I definitely plan on having the boys feed the pets as one of their chores, however they are still too young for that and I already multitask way too much, lol. I'm thinking that besides the one we already have, if they ever want another pet, they're going to have to keep a fish alive for a while first.
