Start at 6 months and try once a week till baby takes to it. Mine didn't really till 8 months or 6 months adjusted because he was preemie.

No earlier then six months because of open gut and risk of causing allergies. Skip the ceral its useless and a card board box has more nutrional value.

My pediatrician gave the go ahead at four months
She said since he was able to hold his head up properly and his gag reflex was working well we could start him on soft foods. I would always check with your pediatricians. Each child is different and there is no set time for this. Better to be careful plus that's what doctors are there for so use them as much as you feel necessary. Being a mom is scary but worth every minute of it
