My ds is going to be 9 months on 8/11. So the problem is- he throws little fits! Just now he was getting into something he wasn't supposed to- I told him No-no and redirected him to his toys. Well he started crying and stopping his legs and waving around his arms! He was clearly frustrated I didn't let him play with the remote! I just didn't expect this to happen so young, first baby if you can't tell :)

normal, frustrating, but normal. he is just getting mobile and exploring his world more. it is the parents job to set those boundaries, yes the remote.

At that age, my son would sit on the floor and slam his face on the floor so his head was in between his feet and cry and throw a fit if he didn't get his way. He did that a couple time on our wood floors and realized how much it hurt and would start to slam his face and right before it hit the floor he would stop and turn his head to the side and just lay it down. He also throws things, hits, pulls my hair and bites when he doesn't get his way.

Yikes! That sounds like my ds, he would bonk his head on the wall, and now it looks like ge isn't doing it as hard, but he still throws full on fits! How long was your ds doing that for?

Yes! The dang cable box! We have sliding doors on our entertainment center and my ds has figured out that he can slide them open and get to all the goodies inside. He does NOT like it when I get him away from there lol.
