There are now laws on vaccination in Canada. Most provinces don't even require waivers for school.
Quoting GE1:I also completely agree with you and didn't realize that there were so many people in the US that chose not to vaccinate. I always thought that Canadians and Americans were similar in child rearing until I joined CM
Quoting erikays:
I thought this said vacation saves lives lol.
You are seriously misguided! ! You need to research some unbiased information and use COMMON SENSE. Before you inject 30 40 shots into your child, do it to yourself first and see if you feel fine. Wait 2 weeks to a month to see if there is any reactions. Look up the ingredients also (try not to vomit) Tell me Formaldehyde, Alluminum, and Mercury are good immune system boosters after you get the injections. They are one-size-fits-all so you shouldnt feel anything close to what a baby feels. Let us know after you do it.
Getting your child immunized doesn't mean they'll never get sick, but if they do it's usually a lot less severe than if they hadn't been immunized. My daughter has been immunized and still got rotavirus at 5 months, but you could hardly tell she had it bc it was so mild. People who get the flu shot still get the flu sometimes, but it's usually less severe than if you haven't gotten the vaccine. I don't judge anyone who doesn't vaccinate, but I'm def going to feel more secure in my child's health if diseases like polio and measles were to make a come back.
