Older kids not ready for new siblings

So, I have 4 children already my eldest is ten and my youngest is almost two.. They are my girls and.my 8 &6 year olds are my boys. Im now expecting twin girls. They are not happy at all. My husband says.its a phase. But.im worried about when the babies actually come.. Any help out there?

Hmm...I'm not much help. My kids are 4 and 2 and they are excited. But maybe try to get them really involved in everything? Help them choose the nursery theme and stuff and toys...tell them about when they were babies, show them pictures, tell funny/cute/silly sibling stories about helping with babies or something. Give them special one-on-one outings. Maybe make it something you keep doing after the babies are born so that they still feel special. Even if it's just for a hour to the park by themselves it could help. I'm drawing a blank on any other suggestions but here's a bump for you!

Def get them involved in everything! Setting up nursery, shopping, appointments :)
