you know those little syringe things they use (the ones without needles of course) we put the medicine in those and let our son kinda suck it out and squirt it out a little at at time

You hold his nose and squirt it down the back of his throat so he has to swallow it.

Cut a small hole in a pacifer or use a bottle nipple, put the medicine in there and let the baby suckler on the paci/bottle nipple and get the antibiotics that way. Worst case scenario you use a syringe and squirt it in the corner/back of his mouth little by little. The further back you get the medicine the less likely he is to spit it out.

I would squirt it into the back of his throat and rub his chin so he swallows it.

When I got desperate with my kids I mixed it with breast milk or formula.

1 mom liked this

At the hospital the way they gave my son (who was only two weeks old) his medicine is to put it in the crevis of his cheek a little at a time, he has to swallow it. If you toss it into the back of his throat the chances are high that he will not only choke but his gag reflex will automatically make him throw up. Defeating the purpose all together. Good Luck Mama.
