With my first, I got my first positive result at the doctor's office, then went out to buy a couple at the Dollar Tree, so I could see for myself, and keep them.
With my second, I bought some cheap test for $1 at HEB, then went and bought some 'Equate' brands, then had it confirmed at the doctor's office.

Answer.
We had been ttc for so long, that I kept buying tests, and getting BFN...so finally, I was down to one last test and I refused to take it until long after my period was late. I never wanted to see a BFN again....
so when my period was about 15 days late...lol, i took the test and saw a +. Woo hoo
