My sons first birthday is the 29th, but were having his party the first (cuz its the following Saturday) im so excited! Everything is ready i pick up the cake and balloons that morning. This year went by so fast, i remember when he couldn't even roll over. Lol ohhh those were the days... Anyway i am so happy i just had to share (:

Aww....happy birthday to your little man!! You are way more organized than I ever was for birthday parties! I did have a friend RSVP that his boys could not come to my oldest ds's 1st birthday party and the night before I dreamt that they came after all. So I got up and made extra goodie bags...turns out, they DID show up. I learned from the start to expect the unexpected. :)

My dd turned 1 in June and we had a bday party the month before because we were near my dh's family. They threw her a party and she had a huge cupcake pinata. It was bigger than her! The only one that could break it was a big man that was really strong. Even the teenage boys couldn't break it. Of course we let the little kids have a whack at it first.
