I gave it to my daughter at a month (she said acid reflex though) my son I wont start it unless he is showing signs of not being full after a feeding but he is only 7 weeks and is content with just nursing.

I started my first baby on cereal from a spoon at only 3 months old. Looking back I wouldn't have done that if I knew what I know now. My 2nd baby got rice cereal at 6 months. And my 3rd is 4 months now. I'd be ok with 6 months but I'll wait as long as I can. Our parents generation truly believed this is ok. But lots of research has shown it is unnecessary and possibly even harmful. I consider it not worth the risk. I realized babies don't even get teeth until 4-6 months or so. They aren't meant to have anything other than milk until at least that age. This is my opinion and advice. I wouldn't put cereal in the bottle.

Btw love the name Landon!

Sorry darlin but your mom is old school lol!!! I noticed that the older generation says stuff like that and the things they did with their children are so much different than what we do with our children. I'd never use a filler unless there was a medical need for it like severe reflux or something like that.

Never.

It is strongly suggested that you never put it in the bottle.

I didn't give DD rice cereal ever. It just isn't a necessary food. No real nutritional value..just filler.

NEVER!  If they can't eat it with a spoon, you don't give it to them.  They could aspirate it and get a serious lung infection.  I have three kids and they never got it that way.

Never. It causes confusion for the baby between what is food and milk. According to the world health organization and the american pediatrics association (and my doc) you should wait closer to their half b-day to give them solids. My DS was 5 1/2 mo when I started. We started on sweet potatoes and are moving on to brown rice cereal next.
