How do I ween my little one from his mommy?

Lately, I've been bombarded with cleaning and laundry and such but my little one always wants to be held 24/7. Is there an easy way to make him get used to sitting in his bouncy or something while I clean instead of having to hold him the entire time? I already know he is going to be a huge mommas boy. but I don't want him having me pick him up all the time, I unjured one of my fingers and my backs always killing me. not to mention the headaches I get out of no where. Any advice?

hmmm, do you have a baby swing? sometimes that can help. sometimes it's the swaying motion that they are looking for.

A swing or a vibrating chair might do the trick for you.

How old is he? Could you get a wrap or a sling and wear him while cleaning?

I do, but everytime I enter the room, he begins to fuss and cry again. I've tried the swing, his carseat, his little rocking chair even putting toys in front of him. he gets bored fast and then wants to be picked up once more.

He doesn't like being in that at all, he is only 7 months old

hmmm - - some slings/front packs put baby in an uncomfortable position, but if a good one is used correctly, it's a lifesaver!!  :)

A wrap or sling would be my best suggestion - one that keeps him in a position that he likes to be help in (if he prefers to be cradled, a sling would be better, but a wrap would be great if he likes to be upright)

That's unfortunate. My wrap has allowed me to clean and hold her. Maybe he's just going thru a stage?

I agree with trying a swing or a bouncy chair.. You'll have to just keep on trying it. :-) Turn the music on and see how he does.
