Rearranging furniture

My Ds decided that he wanted to be a big time climber yesterday and is climbing onto everything. I am afraid he is going to climb up and over the back of the couch and it's tile floors. I am trying to figure a way to arrange my living room where I can have the couch against a wall but not sure if I can without it looking weird. Any suggestions. Also don't look to close my kids attacked the living room with toys this morning lol.

What if you put the TV there at that wall near the couch (in the first response picture), and then the couch against the long wall where the TV is?

If it is not already, make sure that tv is secure so he doesn't accidentally knock it down one day
