Where do you have them in the car? I know the center back seat is the safest but when you have 2 little ones where do you put each?

The convertable and infant seat will not fit side by side in our Honda Accord. So the 5mo is behind the driver (more room for dh long legs) and my 2yo behind the passenger.

We plan on getting seats that will fit 3 across before our new baby arrives.  Ds will be 21 months and because he will be switched to forward facing long before the newborn will he will stay in the middle where he is now.  The baby will be on the driver's side in the truck so I can reach them both from the passenger seat if necessary.  I won't be able to take both kids in my car no matter what so that won't matter.

Currently the baby is behind the drivers seat rf and toddler behind the passenger ff. that's the most compatible setup for my car.

Married to Russell (7/27/09), Momma to Haydn (5/27/10) and Donavyn (8/1/12).

My baby isn't gonna be here for another 3 weeks. But when she is, she'll be on the driver edge, my toddler in the center, and my 5 year old on the passenger edge. My 5 year old has to be on the edge for preschool drop-off and the only way the remaining 2 carseats fit is the way I mentioned.

I have a van with two rows of seats that can fit two carseats each. I have three kids ages 4,3 and 1 1/2 months. My four yr old is next to the baby in the first row of seats directly behind the drivers seat and my three yr old has the back row to herself.

Ok when the baby was born I was in the minivan. In the second row seat was the baby behind the driver, and an adult. In the back seat was my then 2 year old and my then 8 year old. Now both the little ones are in the center seat and the oldest in the back seat. But we go places more in my car I have now, an SUV. The now 4 year old goes in the middle (because he can buckle himself) and the 2 year old is behind the passenger. My oldest child is behind the driver.
