My son is 22 months and about 30 pounds and still faces back.

I plan to turn him around at 40 pounds.

I turned my oldest around when she was about 17 months old because she was to small. And her younger sister is going to be the same way.

I'm confused. What do you mean you turned her around because she was too small?

At least two years.  My last baby was not stable enough to be ff.

She wasn't forward facing until she was 17 months old because she didn't hit 20lbs until she was about 16 months old.

My youngest just turned 2 and is still RF. I have no plans to turn him.

I do not understand people who turn them at 1. How so you make the decision to go against all recommendations when their safety is on the line?

Still RF at 17 months.  I will not be turining her until she is 45 pounds or gets too tall.  But being in the 8th percentile for height I'm guessing she will hit the weight limit first.  Though, we are not even halfway to that limit yet either.

With my daughter i honestly turned her 9 months. I did not know how much safer it was to keep them rear facing. With my son I turned him at 28 months.
