15 months with my first baby (that was when he hit 20 lbs and I didn't know any better back then)

2.5 years with my second child

My baby girl is 18 months old and still rear facing.  I am hoping to make it until at least age 3 before she outgrows her convertible seat rear facing and I have to turn her forward facing.

I haven't decided on that yet. She will be 2 in February and is still rear facing.

I put them in convertible seats at around nine months old. I forward faced my daughter at one year and then my son at two years because I learned it was safer.
