1 mom liked this
yea I did :) we made a promise if it was a girl I would choose her name and if it was a boy DF would choose the first name and I the middle name. I loved the name we chose, Giovanny Alexander :)

Yes but I really really really didn't want to! I only did it because I love my hubby. Plus we call our oldest by his nickname....thank God! Lol!

No. We used K names. But I did tell DH that if we ever had twin boys, they'd be Kaeson & Keagan, closest I could get with K's. (Me & DH are Jason & Megan)

Yes.I was forced to and I hate it. Its been a 3 year battle to get it changed to what we've been Calling him since he was 6 months old when his "father" chose not to be a dad.

Not as his first name, but as his middle name, yes.

I can relate, with my own father. :-/

Quoting gavin423:

No. DH is already named after his father and not only do they basically not speak (unless you count each sending a 'Happy Birthday' on facebook every year) but he hates his name.

Nope, my dh comes from a family that used the same name 4 times (not dh's name), so he didn't want to have a jr. but we did give ds dh's middle name.
