Moms of boys: Would you pierce your son's ears?

Posted by   + Show Post

I have seen young boys wearing earrings.

Would you pierce your sons ears? Allow it if they asked?

Not til he's old enough to ask, if he wants to do it.

Nope, I dot think boys should have their ears pierced although some guys look good in them. If that's what he want he can wait until he's 18. DD got hers when she was nine but grandma got them for her. I don't allow it on my girls until they are old enough to care for them themselves.

Yes, if they wanted it done I have no problem with it. My hubby's ears are pieced, as are the ears of every other male in hubby's family.

I wouldn't pierce them, but I wouldn't pierce a girls either. When they ask for them, and are of age to take care of them, sure.

No. I don't like it, and DH would freak. Once they're old enough they don't need our permission they can go ahead. DH would still freak, but I wouldn't.
My girls can get theirs done when they ask for it and "get" what it entails (ie. The pain).
