I know babies loose some of their hair after they are born.. but he is loosing his from cradle cap. I'm now using baby oil on it righ before a bath and using the brush that came with his cradle cap stuff I bought. He has tons of hair on the back of his head & is loosing almost all of it on top... What can I do, or how do I need to do his baby oil?

1 mom liked this

Babies normally lose hair it's not from cradle cap.  My dd lost most of her on the very back (from normal laying on her back times) and along the sides.  Most of her hair on top is still "orginal".  She had cradle cap all on the very top of her head (where she kept all of her hair lol)

Just let it run it's course, there isn't anything you can do to fix it.my oldest lost hair when she had it too.

My ds didn't have cradle cap & still lost all the hair from the top of his head. Every one teased that he looked like a little bald man, lol. It eventually grew back & he's 2 now with a head full of hair.

My DS had cradle cap and we used the cradle cap soap and in the process of trying to remove the cradle cap, most of his hair fell out as well.

My DD1 has cradle cap and we're letting it run it's course. It's going away on it's own and hasn't affected her hair at all.
