Those are great ideas.

Monica is 13 months and doesnt get rewards like the bigger kids (4 and 5). When she does something I ask I tell her good girl or something but well she is doesnt listen very often.

My 4 and 5 year old collect pennies in a cup when they get some many pennies they can buy things from me. It may be they get to pick whats for dinner. a trip to the park. Family game night, a piece of candy. stickers. We have a lot of different things.

Babies aren't really good or bad - they just do things to explore their world.

When my boys were babies & did something new, we'd cheer & be excited.  We loved on them at all times.  Babies are too young to understand 'rewards', though.

My baby is only 9 months, so i dont think rewards do anything yet.

When they're too small to understand anything else, just lots of praise, hugs, high fives (when they're old enough), etc.

Never really thought about it, but I suppose we cheer them on!
