i want to get my baby's ears pierced and my mom told me that after she had her first shots i can get her ears done whenever i wanted to. she also said that latino girls tend to get their ears pierced when theyre really young and my baby is half hispanic but she looks more hispanic than anything. I got mine done when i was a baby but my ex wants me to wait until shes older like when shes a year old. does anyone else think that 11 weeks is too young?

This!

Quoting Nolanzo:

Its typical to do it around 3 months. I personally will not wait until they are old enough to pull on them... the younger the better (3 mos is my recommendation) and yes she needs to be innoculated first. Ask her pediatrician when you take her for that well baby visit.

We're waiting untill dd is old enough to make her ow decision about getting her ears peirced.  But if you wanna do them as a baby, I think younger is better.  It gives them lots of time to heal before she learns to pull them out.
