Postpartum cramping?

Does anybody know how long postpartum cramping/pains in the stomach lasts for?? Mine isn't a continuous pain, but it does come and go and it's pretty painful.

Just wondering how long I can expect this to last??

First 6 weeks? Probably as long as you're bleeding? Not sure.

as long as you are bleeding, you will probably feel cramping on and off. Cramping is just your uterus clamping down again back to its normal size.

Omg my was awful for about the first week and breast feeding made the cramps come on more harder and painful! I took Tylenol and put a warm washcloth,oh and warm showers felt amazing! Hope you get some relief mama :)

Abras right. They will probably be worse with breastfeeding but they should never be much more than a bad period cramp and they space out after about a week or 2

My cramping only lasted a few days - but I bled off and on for weeks.

I DEFINITLY feel your pain, my 2nd baby is 5 months old and mine went away at about 8 weeks post partum, completely gone i mean. they gradually go down as time goes by, but i didnt notice it with my 1st, but my 2nd? holy shit it brought me to tears while nursing, and i had all natural births. I had no idea that was like that.
