The right doctor?

My DD is 10m old, I've being getting her to the doctor to do her shots and the checks. From a while i am concerned if she's getting the attention needed by a baby from her pedi.

I don't see the doctor to keep a detailed track of her growth and developing. Should I keep the track of it? Should i change doctor?

So the doctor (ok nurse is who actually does it) isn't taking her weight, length, & head circumference at each visit? If they do they put it in her chart. Are you expecting something more? Do you have concerns about her growth not being normal and needing to see a specialist?

What I expect him to do is to take time to see my baby, it's like always is in a rush, just take a quick look and out! sometimes he doesn't even take the time to write it down..

What do you want him to write down exactly? If the nurse has taken all of her measurements, they should be in her chart before he comes in the room.

Change doctors if you are unhappy. Our pedi is wonderful! Even though we were an emergent case and the very last appointment of the day (doublebooked might i add) she still took the time to play with him and get him smiling before she examined him. And he was screaming after they ran a test so she even told me that she would stay and keep the door open so i could nurse him
