Whenever they start to really "toddle around". I generally go around one year old, but it depends on the kid.

Do you mean cruising or actually walking?

I was wondering this too. I really started using the word toddler when she was around 2 years.

Usually when they start to toddle around. Cruising doesn't really count because kids as young as 6 months can cruise around and they are still infants. It's more or less around a year old
