My daughter had a really high fever and then broke out into rash the dr said it was roseola. It creeped me Out when I read about it , it says caused by Herps. But not the sexually transmitted one. Well what kind is it? And how the hell did she get it? Has anyone's else children have it?

Herpes is a type of virus. It includes all sorts. The STD, cold sores, chicken pox, roseola, etc, etc, and so on and so forth.

Oh, and it's an airborne virus, so it's very easy to catch. Probably while you were out somewhere, she caught it from another child, possibly who didn't even know they had it yet.
