Weaning my son off the boob...

I have been bf'ing my son for 15 months now. I have been thinking of weaning him off the boob for some time now. He only nurses 3 times a day; nap time, bed time & early in the morning, he wakes up until I nurse him back to sleep. He only nurses for comfort. My questions are:

1. How did you ladies do it?

2. Which feeding should I take away first?

TIA

Drop the least favorite first.   A week later (or once he's adjusted) drop another, etc...   he probably won't like it if it's not his idea, so you may have a bit of a battle on your hands.

I just encouraged my first to nurse less and less (delay and distract, I was trying to get pregnant again) and he eventually stopped asking.

I don't have any experience weaning at that age. My kids are done or weaned around 8 months.
